When the drum in a washing machine does not turn during a cycle this is usually due to a worn or broken belt. Replacing the belt with a new one should resolve the issue. If the belt is in good condition it may have simply slipped off, in which case it needs to be repositioned.
If the washing machine is leaking it is a common symptom of a faulty door seal which, if torn or worn down, will allow water through. While replacing the door seal should rectify the leak, the issue could alternatively arise due to the pump or the hoses.
Noise from the washing machine can originate from several sources, such as loose components or if the machine is not being solidly supported by all four legs. More likely, however, are the drum bearings being worn and these should be repaired quickly as the fault can affect other parts in the machine. Indicators of worn bearings could be a loose drum or rusting at the back of the machine.
