A broken or worn drive belt is generally the cause of a drum that is failing to turn when the motor is functional. Attempting to turn the drum by hand will establish whether the belt is in good condition - if the drum is difficult to turn then the belt is working, but if the drum turns with little resistance the belt needs to be replaced. A belt in working condition should be taut around the drum, so bear this mind when fitting a new one.
If an issue with temperature regulation is affecting the B13BTA++ dryer's performance, the thermostat is likely to be faulty - replacing this component should resolve the problem.
Fitting a new heating element should usually fix the problem of the dryer not heating up either enough or at all. While this is an easy repair to carry out it is not the only solution, as there may also be a fault with the thermal cut-out switch, which needs replacing.
